See Kai Run Review and Giveaway!

Never sacrific style for comfort, and comfort for style. So what does that mean? Why not have both. I am a firm believer, in this day and age, with such great innovative designers, we can truely have our cake and eat it too. My daughter likes all of her clothes, shoes, hats, accessories to be uber stylish, and at the same time comfortable. She will literally take off her clothes or shoes in public places, if their either A) ugly or B) uncomfortable. When ever we go shopping, the items that we purchase has to possess those two factors, comfort and style. I definitely have a fashionista in the making!

Countless times, when we go shoe shopping, we've come home disappointed. If we see a really nice looking shoe, it's too narrow on my daughter's feet, or the bottom is like a wooden board. On one particular shoe shopping outing, after going through numerous stylish, uncomfortable shoes, the salesman brought over the newest, most comfortable shoes on the market. The second my daughter took a glimpse of it, she shook her head no, and turned her head. In seeing the salesman's efforts, I tried convincing her to give it a try. Of course, I was in agreement with my daughter. It looked like a boring shoe that was a miniature version of what nurses would wear, at a nursing home. She tried the shoe on and it was super comfortable, but she and I still could not get past the ugliness of it.

So my daughter and I went online, to take a look at some shoes. Sometimes the internet is the best way to go because you can take a look at hundreds of shoes, without ever leaving the comfort of your home. We came across, See Kai Run. Immediately, both our faces lit up. The designs were very modern and girly chic for the girl's line. They do have a nice selection of boys shoes, as well. My daughter pretty much wanted every shoe that was up on the site. When she took a second to leave the room, as a parent, I read more about the company. And to my excitement, these shoes were comfortable as well.

The shoes have very flexible soles, which are a definite must for developing feet. They have a wide opening and the toe box accomodates larger, chubbier feet. The shoes are made of leather lining which makes for breathability and durability, and they are easy to put on and off, with a velcro closure. The See Kai Run line meets the American Podiatric Medical Association's rigorous standards for foot health and functionality, and has been awarded the APMA's Seal of Acceptance.

The shoes are super flexible, and very comfortable. But what sets them apart from their competition, is that they are hip, modern, and chic. They combine both fashion forward designs with functionality and durability. My daughter got her first pair the other day, and she was smiling from cheek to cheek. She wore the Jennae style which had a rasberry peep toe, cream piping around the edges, and a cute flower at the end of the strap. My daughter was in shoe heaven. She ran around the house in them with no discomfort. She jumped, danced, and spun, without any issues. She kept saying to me, "Mommy, I am wearing princess shoes." She associates princess with anything royal, chic, and pretty. We finally got a shoe, that was both girly chic and comfortable.
